The Ellinikon Experience Centre is an interactive exhibition space in Athens, Greece, designed to showcase The Ellinikon—an ambitious urban development project that aims to transform the site of the former Hellenikon International Airport into a sustainable, smart city. The centre offers visitors a hands-on look at what the future of urban living in Athens could look like.
Among the interactive experiences were a virtual bike ride through different regions of The Ellinikon and a boat ride along the coastline. For these, I was responsible for refining large-scale geo scan data to make it real-time rendering friendly and visually polished. I also created and placed numerous props and buildings throughout the scenes, and was responsible for modeling key objects and structures along the bike routes — such as railings, stairs, concrete planters, and other environmental details.
